Sauna Thermas

We were there Friday night from 12:30am (about 25 guys) until 2:30am (10 guys inside). You should go earlier to this sauna. It was boring - no music, no bar, only automatic non-alcoholic drinks. This is not a place for a longer stay. It is big enough and there are a lot of places to have fun but no more.

The staff were friendly enough. 10 Euro entry with sandals, 2 towels and a condom. It's so dark it is hard to find your locker. That and the fact that some of the lockers are randomly scattered about It makes no sense. There is some dis-repair here. There is a sauna on the main floor that does not work. it has a board screwed across the door. I guess it is abandoned in place. There are 2 urinals downstairs that are permanently closed off. There is a toile in the locker area that is also permanently closed off. The place has a musty odor. I woke up with a snotty nose. Maybe mildew in the smelly steam room. It needs a pressure wash with bleach. There is no douche facilities here if you need it, do it at home. The showers are fair quality with liquid soap dispensers. It's a big place. plenty of private cubicles with mattresses that get cleaned periodically (Nice). They take "Dark room to a whole new level. They are absolutely black. I actually think it's unsafe how dark they are. This place was a let down for me. I tried it twice and I won't go for 3. No hard feelings, but I'm out.

They are not friendly. The sauna does not work. Very bad smell. Unfortunate that it is the only in Porto open at night. I think the other Camões sauna should also be open for more alternatives.

I am 40 yo and I’ve been to several saunas in a lot of countries. I was hesitant to go to this sauna based on the reviews but what a nice suprise! I don’t know if it changed or it was upgraded or something but it was more than I expected. It was clean, warm, nice steam room (a little bit dark, but it is part of the fun, right?). Sauna same thing! Plenty of clean “rooms” and A LOT OF ACTION! I went on Saturday at 5:30 pm. Lots of men of different ages, body shapes, *** sizes, and heights. The place has some dark areas but that is what dark rooms are for! Overall, it is a good place!!

Terrible, dark, dirty + unfriendly staff. Towels are small. Not accessible to the disabled.

Big sauna on 2 floors. No name and sign outside. Only Nr 205 and one ring. Staff just polite. Basic Equipment. 3 dark rooms to play. Best time is 3 to 7 PM. Most of costumers are 30-40 old, all with the model of dark beard !

Very ugly and dirty place.

Very dark everywhere, smelly, populated by flocks of young queens that look sideways at anyone over 30 that dares to enter "their" sauna. No jacuzzi and lot of pointless empty space in the lower floor. It has the potential to be an amazing place, but it seems management doesn't care. The ONLY good thing was the cute employee at the counter. Sauna Camões might have tacky old fashioned decoration, but it is better in everything compared to this one (this doesn't even have decorations... Black empty walls everywhere!)

At this place there is not jacuzzi neither hot pool, very dark place.

Was just wondering what are the "relaxing cabins"?? can you rent the cabins for the whole time you are there?

I got to the concierge and left because of the poor service.

I have seen many sauna places in Lisbon and Oporto disappearing throughout the last years. Even though the standard was never high, most places still had charm and one could imagine how great (or at least famous) those places used to be, many years ago . This rotten hole which is called Thermas is simply a shame. Light level of a darkroom, even in the entrance area. Non functional facilities, dry sauna with no more than 40 degrees Celsius, the “h”ole establishment greets your nose with a mixture of pee and sweaty smell. Simple disgusting and certainly my first and last time to go there. 1 Star is still too much!

Going in Porto every summer, best sauna in town. A good mix of easy going guys, cool and discreet

Theresa are ONLY two saunas in the city of Porto. Thermas and sauna Camões, very near. After being in the other, very clean, friendly and warm staff. It makes you want to get away from here. Besides being more expensive. Unfortunately it is the only one open at night but i would not recommend.

Guys are easy going attitude free. Mix of guys with a few gorgeous ones. No pressure invitations. Main negative is it lacks a pool and its a bit on the small side. But ok to spend an hour or so to see what happens. Nothing to lose for 10 Euros. As only sauna in Porto, can't be choosy.

Thermas 205 is a dark and unpleasant place. I have been there about ten years ago and again this August 2017 and it seemed to me just a place in which nothing is being invested. There is no bar and communication with the personnel is reduced to the absolute minimum. There is no sauna at all, because the temperature inside is lower than in the corridors. The chambers are as dark as the rest. The only positive thing is the low price and the opening times.

Sauna and steam room are extremely dark, you will hit your face cause you don't see anything. Sauna is cold like 30 to 40 °C. No jacuzzi/hot pool as mentioned above. Private rooms have no mattress. A hard stone only... Even though the guys are hot.

There are apparently only 2 gay men's spa in Porto and this was supposed to be the more updated, happening one of the two. It's pretty easy to locate via Uber and was not in a remote outskirts part of town. Between 6pm to about 8:30 pm, the crowd was lame with mostly 50-65 year olds and out of shape 30 something's making up the 15 or so men present. The facilities were minimal with a steam room and a dry sauna. The private cabins looks like prison cells with the super thin mat flipped out like they were meant to be out of use. Through relatively clean and with showers spewing out strong warm water, the place just didn't seem exciting. The bar was non-functioning so bottle drinks and snacks were purchased via tokens and from a vending machine. While the entry charge was only 10euros with no membership required even for foreigners, , it's not likely a place I'd find myself back at again.

On monday I ask to the worker to change channel of TV and he doesn't do it. Porto needs more saunas to compete with this sauna.

I went too early. Got busy later when I'd had fun and ready to leave. Different mix of guys. Different set up, lots of dark rooms but private cabins to play. Steam rooms and great showers. Not bad place. Will be going back. Don't like that they don't offer lube.

I went there around 6pm, quite a good crowd of people of young and older, and many tourist too. Good space, and more activities happening downstairs in the dark rooms and steam rooms. The reception is helpful with tourist and foreigners as well.

Old, everything is outdated, water in shower was cold (have visit this place 2 times) steam sauna stinks, Finnish sauna was cold, slippery.
