    Saguaro National Park

Saguaro National Park preserves the country’s largest collection of giant saguaro cacti, some reaching 50 feet and living for centuries. The park has two sections: the Rincon Mountain District to the east and the Tucson Mountain District to the west. Visitors can explore more than 170 miles of hiking trails, from short strolls like the Valley View Overlook Trail to longer treks into the mountains.

Driving routes such as the Cactus Forest Loop and Bajada Loop provide easy access to the desert landscape, with plenty of stops for photos, picnics, and petroglyphs. It’s one of the best ways to experience the Sonoran Desert up close.
