CARGO Sauna

I went here a month ago and had a great time. First experience at a gay sauna, so a little apprehensive, but the attendant/barman was very friendly and helpful. Relaxed environment, clean and plenty of fun if you're looking for it. Allez-y pour vous détendre, de jour comme de nuit.

I visit this place very often when I’m in town. I only visit during weekends (Friday / Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons). As in many other cities, this sauna is busiest when the weather is cold / rainy outside. Best time to go in Sunday afternoons (3-7pm) in winter (October through March). Crowd is mostly locals and 25-45 yo. Lots of handsome guys. I’m in my early 30’s and in shape and I always have a lot of fun here. Small (but existing) swimming pool, nice and warm jacuzzi for 10 guys, big steam room and sauna. You shower in front of other guys. So you can show off and have a nice look at other guys ;) I find the place clean and well-maintained. Staff is friendly. You can ask for another towel if yours is too wet. There is also a bar where you can chill and have a beer. I tried other saunas in marseille but this is the best one in terms of infrastructure and most important the choice and number of guys available for fun ;)

Was in Marseille for 5 days visted this Sauna twice found the place reilly dirty and smelly..Steam and Dry Sauna good. No soap in the showers. Would not recommed.

I had enjoyed the Cargo a decade ago, alas the condition of the establishment has deteriorated well: soap dispensers in empty showers and out of service, partition broken into the toilet, mattress even in the booths, video screens off, electric wire that hangs. Part of the place was walled, and a spacious partitioned shower area and converted into cabins. Atmosphere and attendance morose. Fortunately, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool work at the right temperature and the boss is very welcoming.

I stayed there from 22:00 to 02:00 on a Saturday night. It was really pleasant and relaxing. The sauna is really hot and the hammam was perfect. The whole environment made me feel at ease. In particolar very clean, compared to French saunas elsewhere. I will go back as soon as I can!
